Position - 1st!!!!!!
Another tough days racing with an even worse start for the "DM Security" team with our last year's co-pilot, Steve Appleby, suffering a horrific injury. In a freak accident, He put a sand anchor through his stomach and ending up in emergency surgery 2 hours later. After that start, the day went a lot better for us winning all five of our heat races before flipping our boat on the finish line while launching it ready for the final. Lucky for us team "Little Devil" lent us their boat where we scraped our way to 2nd place. Great day in the rough and our first ever national round win!! Thanks "Little Devil". Also, a big thanks to Moss Smith for all his help in setting up and maintaining our boat in top condition and for also producing a super fast prop.
